Let's meet in real life

I met Ashlyn for coffee.

Although he didn't get one (since he was loaded up on caffeine from the multiple cups he had that morning), he did shower me with quotes from famous authors, investors and the like. My meeting with him was quite fruitful.

What was surprising was that both he and I had been thinking about bringing together a small group of people who could meet in the real world and sit around a table, over drinks or dinner. In other words, we both want to be more intentional about "networking".

Now, networking gets a bad rep. In my mind, it is the process of learning about one another, getting to know a stranger without any hopes and dreams attached to it and that can be quite a fulfilling experience.

And so here I am, putting it out to the universe in the form of this mini write-up. Let's manifest and make this happen.
